It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our founder Larry Wilson. He created Wilson Learning in 1965 in a small office over his garage. A highly successful salesperson, Larry believed that selling did not require a manipulative or adversarial approach;
instead, he showed how a counselor approach to meeting customer needs produced more effective results. This was a revolutionary concept for its time that created a new generation of salespeople who recognized the value of establishing relationships based on trust and win-win problem solving.
